The Move Write Book B (Print and Cursive) is a developmentally designed handwriting programme that follows on from Move Write Book A. Book B continues to support the development of print or cursive handwriting styles, dependent on your learners developmental needs.

Move Write Book B (Print) includes a lower-case and upper-case checklist that can be implemented before and after learners engage with the practice book. Book B also places a focus on the conventions of print, which is in line with Primary Language Curriculum learning outcomes for junior and senior infants.

Move Write Book B (Cursive) provides further practice of lower-case and upper-case letters as separate but flowing letters with a lead in and out that were introduced to learners in Book A. Repetition of patterns that include movements that mimic those needed for letter formation are a key to developing confidence and competence at this early stage of development. Book B builds on these skills then by introducing learners to two-letter words and joins.
