About the Author

Smriti Halls is an award-winning, critically acclaimed childrens author whose books have been published in more than 40 languages. South Indian by birth, British by nationality and London-loving by heart, Smriti lives near Richmond Park with her husband and their three sons, reading, writing and eating iced buns. Her books includeIm Sticking With You(S&S Childrens Books),Rain Before Rainbows(Walker Books) andBest of All(Two Hoots).

Chaaya Prabhat is an illustrator and lettering artist from Chennai, India. currently working out of Goa. She has worked on a number of picture books and non-fiction projects, including The Culture of Clothes, The Best Diwali Ever and Hide-and-Seek History: The Egyptians. Shes worked on numerous book covers for publishers and worked with clients such as Snapchat, Facebook and Google on digital illustration projects. She has previously received awards for her portfolio and projects from Behance and Adobe. She currently lives in Goa, India.
