The 2012 Limerick and Clare Education Centres Research Conference, Current Issues in Education, surpassed all expectations with twenty-one papers presented to a capacity audience. The event had an international dimension this year with Ms. Liliana Kalinowska from the University of Lodz in Poland, Ms. Marlene Schliepach from the Free University of Berlin and Prof. Timothy R. Blair, Professor in Reading/Literacy Education at the University of Central Florida joining Irish counterparts such as Fiona King PhD (PDST), John OShea PhD (Mary Immaculate College), Michele Dunleavy M.St. (SESS) and many others presenting papers on their research work.
