Ben and Zoe travel to the Kalahari Desert, where a frantic lioness is keeping
local people from their well.

It seems her cub has fallen down the well, and its up to the children to
rescue it. With some cool new gadgets, including a wind and solar-powered
dune buggy, they set off. But with the thirst-bating heat and deadly creatures
at every turn, as well as a powerful sandstorm to contend with, will they
manage to rescue the cub and return it to its pride before its too late? About

Jan Burchett and Sara Vogler were already friends when they discovered they
both wanted to write childrens books and that it was much more fun to do it
together. They have since written over a hundred stories, ranging from ghost
stories, football stories and dinosaur stories, to a story about an old lady
who goes back to school at the age of 109!
