Published by Learning Materials Ltd, the Write Away photocopiable series looks at several different types of writing from everyday note-making to extended essays. The books follow a graded sequence (from book to book). Each book contains models of appropriate language and structure and activities that lead children, in a step-by-step way, towards independent writing.

The series has been designed to help older students with various written activities. Most pages are followed by writing frames / templates to allow pupils to extend their work over two stages that would have been difficult over one stage.
